Here's to you Mr. Snowplow Driver!

Well, I leave my house tomorrow morning at about 5:15am and wouldn't you know it - we have a snow storm!  The plows were out tonight on my way home, so that was a huge relief.  I just hope it quits so they can get the highways cleared (and the airport runways too)!  We fly from Minneapolis to Dallas, then onto Guatemala.  We do have a longer layover in Dallas, so if our Minneapolis flight is a little late, we should be ok.  We get into Guatemala at 9pm.  I am so glad to be traveling with Sonja and Sean.  Sonja and I went in May together - and this time her husband will meet their daughter for the first time.  I'm excited to see that.  This trip won't be the same with Anna though!  And to Terri and Michelle - I hope one day I can meet you in person.  Who knows what the future holds, right?

The plan is that Rylan will be brought to me on Thursday morning at 10am.  Here in Wisconsin we are the same time zone as them.  I'll get to keep him with me the entire time at the Marriott Hotel, but will give him back Saturday at 5pm.  I fly home Sunday morning.  Please pray that Rylan adjusts to me well.  I worry that he might be scared.  I have enough toys to help ease the transition though... my suitcase could hardly fit my clothes and pj's!

Cameron will be well cared for by his dad and our family!  That always makes me feel so much better.  I'm excited to go, but once I have to give Rylan back you can't get me home fast enough.  I just pray that soon we'll make that final trip ,and Rylan will be right on my lap enjoying the flight home!

As far as the adoption goes, we are still on the 2nd reviewers desk.  I'm still hopeful that maybe we'll hear something this week.  I will post on my blog while in Guatemala (at some point while Rylan is napping).  Probably Thursday afternoon.

Thanks for all the private emails, phone calls, and total show of support!  I really do appreciate it.  It is so nice to know that we are cared about, and thought about!

Next time we talk, I'll have baby boy in my arms!  Yeah!!!!

1 - Karla,
I am praying that everything goes smoothly. I think that Rylan will adjust easily with you. He seems to be the go
with the flow type of child. I wish I were there, but I know that the next time we meet, we will all have our precious little ones home. I am holding on to that hope that it won't be too much longer.
